Antica Trattoria Ballotta in Torreglia (Padua)—the oldest in the Euganean Hills, with records dating back to 1600—renews its historic charm with OLEV lighting design.
Inside the evocative wine cellar, characterized by stone walls and exposed wooden beams, the Curuba suspension lamps illuminate the tables.
These lamps are crafted from exquisite hand-blown glass using the traditional “ballotton” technique, which creates a sophisticated cross-hatched pattern on the surface.
The Curuba lamps feature a dual light emission: a primary beam focuses directly on the table, while a warm, ambient glow illuminates the glass from within.
The downward light is managed by a specialized filter that eliminates glare, ensuring a soft and comfortable visual experience for guests.
