Marc Sadler tells about the OLEV booth at Salone del Mobile | Euroluce 2019
Sadler, OLEV’s new art director, explains the thinking behind the creation of such an innovative and unusual booth.
An impactful and memorable scenography, that stands out thanks to its uniqueness: the booth has been built using wooden boxes that contain the refined designer lamps by OLEV.
“The wooden boxes symbolize a ship entering the harbour, and unloading new ideas,” Sadler said.
“If we take a tour of the show, we can see that it’s not a traditional booth.
It looks more down-to-earth, but inside you’ll find products that are very refined, and they will be even more refined in the future.
This is our message: we arrive at the harbour, we land, this is our sign“.
